Good morning, Lowell.

Local officials and community partners opened a new traffic playground at McPherson Park on Hildreth Street last Sunday—built on a former parking lot where children learn to ride bikes and scooters safely—and a $177,000 Community Development Block Grant funded the project.

Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce President Danielle McFadden met Michael Kourkoulakos of New England Network Solutions at Wellpoint Studios on Nov 18 — they discussed cybersecurity for businesses of all sizes.

Lowell's new baseball team, the Spinners, was unveiled during a morning press conference at the Tsongas Center by the Futures Collegiate Baseball League and UMass Lowell.
