Good morning, Lowell.

UMass Lowell’s Toxics Use Reduction Institute received nearly $350,000 from the EPA to launch a Vacuum Vapor Degreasing Hub aimed at testing safer alternatives to the toxic solvent TCE—this project will train businesses in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island on using cleaner industrial cleaning methods.

On Oct15, the Daily Pulse welcomed Marty Lorrey in studio while Teddy Panos and Mayor Dan Rourke joined via Zoom from Richmond Hill, Canada (just outside Toronto) to discuss UEF7 and Lowell’s role as the first Frontrunner City in the United States.
