  • Longtime Lowell public servant Edward Kennedy, known for his lively storytelling and community dedication, is remembered during calling hours today from 3 to 7 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street. His funeral will begin on Wednesday with a 10 a.m. service and an 11 a.m. mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 144 East Merrimack Street.  Inside Lowell

  • After 30 years at Market Basket, executive Sue Dufresne was fired for sharing secret company details and showing loyalty to Arthur T.   • UMass Lowell will open a new security operations center on its campus at the Wannalancit Business Center—funded by a $300,000 grant from MassTech to help protect local cities and defense companies from cyber threats.
