  • Lowell legislators nominated local Latin leaders at the 2025 Latino Excellence on the Hill awards held on Thursday in the State House’s Great Hall—honoring Janise Rosario, Enrique Vargas, Francisco Maldonado, and Maria Vejar-Mason for their service to our community. The awards recognized each for making a lasting impact in Lowell through work in youth services, education, and public safety.  Inside Lowell
  • Mail-in ballots are now available for Lowell’s City Election and registered voters can request them online or by phone to receive them by next week—Early Voting will be held at the Senior Center from October 25 through October 31, and in-person voting will be on November 4 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. New voter registrations must be completed by October 25, and the ballot includes candidates for City Council and the School Committee for two-year terms.  Inside Lowell
