Harry Bucky Lew, a Lowell-based basketball pioneer who began his career at the YMCA, will be inducted into the American Basketball Hall of Fame in the 2025 class on August 17 at the Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit.
He built his legacy by integrating professional and college basketball and by influencing baseball integration for the Dodgers.
