  • Strongwater Farm announced a free weekly program called 'Stronger Together' at its Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Tewksbury to support first responders, veterans and their families through unmounted 90-minute sessions held every Friday from 10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. starting May 30 until July 11 except on July 4.  Inside Lowell

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Amy VonKahle, a teacher at Reilly Elementary (recognized for excellence by Wellpoint, Lowell Public Schools and InsideLowell), leads creative lessons that help third graders master math and teamwork. The former Hall of Fame softball pitcher (a Tewksbury native) uses a team mentality that keeps her students engaged and smiling.  Inside Lowell
  • UMass Lowell honored outstanding members of the Class of 2025 at its awards celebration on May 16 — part of weekend-long Commencement festivities.
