Good morning, Lowell.

Lowell’s oldest tavern, Worthen House, will host America’s Best Restaurants’ ABR Roadshow on June 5 from 2 to 5 p.m.—featuring an on-camera interview with owner Penelope Hamourgas—and will showcase its 1834-built original decor to attract new visitors.

The City of Lowell’s Department of Planning and Development is asking park enthusiasts to help shape local parks as it updates its Open Space and Recreation Plan.

City officials said residents can join online and at community events to share ideas while 11 park improvement projects — including new playgrounds and upgrades to recreation areas — are scheduled for later this year.
