- ➤ Lowell High School’s AFJROTC unit competed at the All-Service Nationals Drill Competition in Daytona Beach, Florida over April break, with the Unarmed Team earning 2nd in Regulation Drill and 3rd in Inspection and the Armed Team placing 5th in Armed Regulation—showing strong performance and national recognition. - ➤ Lowell City Manager Tom Golden confirmed that the fiscal 2026 budget includes a 2.5% tax levy increase—public hearing on the $617,355,800 proposal is scheduled for May 27.
