LOWELL — The Pirates let go of interim head coach Fred Griggs and hired Tom Menas as the new head coach and defensive coordinator.
Menas, who coached the San Antonio Gunslingers at the start of the season, said he is excited to lead the team to a better season — and plans to work hard with his staff to improve performance.
