Teacher Appreciation Week is coming (May 5-9) to honor Lowell educators who work hard to guide students every day.

A local parent shared that teachers have helped children through tough times (especially during the pandemic) by offering extra care and support.

UMass Lowell spent Earth Week planting 21 trees along Wilder Street after receiving saplings donated by the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust—on April 23, officials planted a sugar maple outside O’Leary Library, and today more trees are being planted in the UMass Lowell Food Forest.
