Lowell Public Schools have received a $494,150 grant to launch a Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Program for the 2025–2026 school year.
The program supports five paraprofessional apprentices at local elementary schools and partners with UMass Lowell (Middlesex Community College) to provide 2,000 hours of mentor-led training and coursework.
