Good morning, Lowell.

UMass Lowell and Florida Gulf Coast University announced Monday—launching a partnership to offer joint education, research and career opportunities through dual degree programs, internships and collaborative projects in water, energy, and sustainability.

The agreement also brings together leaders from science, industry and government to expand learning and support for veterans and local communities.

Lowell-based Pridestar Trinity EMS announced a $3.5 million investment in a new 10,000-square-foot facility—located at 17-21 White Street in Haverhill—that will improve emergency response times and training opportunities while the company completes its buildout and continues operating from Stewart Street.
