Join us for open gallery hours at 70 Seeds , a group exhibition imagining vibrant, pluralistic Jewish life in the United States in the year 2070βexactly 2,000 years after the fall of the Second Temple.
Using speculative art and interactive installation, the exhibition brings together 11 American Jewish artists working across visual art, performance, interactive installation, sound design, and digital media. Drawing on strategic foresight frameworks, Jewish rituals and texts, alongside their own questions, hopes and dreams, the artists work in soft, gathered, and digitized materials to imagine textures of Jewish community, ritual, identity, diaspora, and belonging nearly 50 years from now.
This open gallery session is an invitation to explore the exhibition freely, on your own time and at your own pace. Exhibition guidebooks will be available to help you engage more deeply with the work, and producer Becca Leviss of the Judeofuturism Project and curator Aimee Rubensteen of MyFi Studio will be on hand throughout the afternoon to answer questions and share conversation. Come for a quick visit or stay for a while; drop in anytime between 4:00 and 7:00 PM.
To support the health and accessibility of our community, masks are required for everyone in the gallery during this session.
This event is free and open to the public. Donations to support the exhibition and future programming are welcome and appreciated.
We hope you'll join us for a slower, quieter afternoon of art, reflection, and discovery.
