Freestyle/Musicality Bachata - 6-Week Series Tuesdays at 6 PM This class is designed train confidence, musicality, and freestyle in bachata by focusing on solo dancing. All techniques learned will translate to and advance partner work technique. Class Breakdown: Each class will focus on a building block that contributes to the dancer’s freestyle technique: footwork, body movement, styling, musical sensitivity, expressivity, and storytelling. We will cover elements from different genres of bachata music and dance including traditional, modern, urban, and sensual. Why focus on Freestyle and Musicality? Connecting with the music is a fundamental part of dance. By the end of this class, you will develop an intuition of how to connect your movements to the sounds in bachata music, and music in general! Who can join?
