Charles Haynes and the Tabernacle deliver a high-energy live experience where Afrobeat, jazz, gospel, and hip-hop converge with music, dance, and storytelling. Led by acclaimed drummer, composer, producer, and Berklee alumnus Charles Haynes, whose collaborators include Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Robert Glasper, Marcus Miller, Samara Joy, and Angélique Kidjo, the group transforms its deep roots in the African diaspora into a contemporary sound built for connection and movement.
Inspired by Hayness personal story of resilience and his belief in musics power to heal, each performance is a joyful, communal experience that brings audiences to their feet and offers a glimpse into My Village, Vol. 1, the groups forthcoming debut album.
