About this event

Tewksbury’s Wamesit Lodge of Freemasons is partnering with the American Red Cross to sponsor a blood drive. Blood donations help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Blood donations help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer.

If interested in donating blood, please schedule an appointment by downloading the American Red Cross Blood Donor app, by visiting https://www.redcrossblood.org/ , or by using the QR code shown on the flyer.

The blood donation process from the time you arrive until the time you leave takes about an hour, although the donation itself is only about 8-10 minutes of that time on average.

Wamesit Lodge is part of the world’s oldest and largest fraternity – Freemasonry. The fraternity is comprised of adult men (18+) of good character from every country, religion, race, age, income, education, and opinion. Its body of knowledge and system of ethics is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, his faith, his country, and his fraternity. The Freemasons help men to be the best possible versions of ourselves, and make connections with men who share the same values. If interested in learning more or joining the brotherhood of the Wamesit Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, please feel free to contact us at Wamesit@MassFreemasonry.net
