About this event

Using famous Hollywood movie clips, we will focus on the drama of cross-examining a witness at trial (both a “hard” and a “soft” cross) and closing arguments. We will feature scenes from My Cousin Vinny , Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington in Philadelphia , Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men , Paul Newman in The Verdict , Jodie Foster’s The Accused and finally, Gregory Peck in To Kill a Mockingbird . Please Note: This talk features different movie clips from those shown in Part I of this series.
