About this event
Join us as we celebrate one whole year of Boston Open Decks!
Over the past year, BOD has hosted 17 events, given over 150 DJs from the community a chance to play, and built a community of 3,000+ people brought together by a shared love of music. What started as a simple idea to give local DJs a place to play has grown into a community of selectors, dancers, and music lovers helping shape Boston's underground scene.
To mark the occasion, we're putting together our biggest celebration yet.
Back by popular demand, our DJ contest returns! In the coming weeks, we'll be opening submissions for a chance to win an hour-long set at our anniversary party on November 14th.
Following the contest winner, ACHILLES and ASHACK will take over for the rest of the night. Both have played a huge role in shaping BOD into what it is today, making them the perfect selectors to celebrate this milestone with.
As a bonus, Jake Jordan, a well-known and loved member of the Boston community, will be running the room at peak time! Jake is a Boston-based DJ who blends Tech House, Minimal House, Deep House, UKG, and fast-paced underground House into high-energy, modern club sets.
Most importantly, this night is about everyone who's been part of BOD over the past year. Whether you've played a set, danced until closing, or just shown up to support the scene, you've helped build something special.
One year down. Plenty more to come.
Your city, your sound.
