About this event
The evening, hosted by Brookline Booksmith, will also feature a musical performance by Naomi Westwater and readings from Tracy K. Smith, Ibtisam Azem, John Cotter, and Shangyang Fang.
The fall issue includes Proximity: A Portfolio of Writing and Art by Women of Color, coedited by AGNI’s senior editor Shuchi Saraswat, and guest editors Ru Freeman and Preti Taneja—in addition to fiction by Caren Beilin and Anita Harag (in Walter Burgess and Marietta Morry’s translation), nonfiction by Molly Rideout and Daniel Barnum, and poetry by Khaled Mattawa, Daniela Danz (in Monika Cassel’s translation), Oak Morse, and Kelly Gray. Nkechi Ebubedike’s provocative cover art fuses the two halves of this singularly vibrant issue.
