About This Event First-Gen Day is a powerful celebration of resilience, achievement, and opportunity at Fitchburg State. First-Gen Day honors the achievements of our first-generation students, faculty, staff, and Upward Bound scholars. It's a powerful reflection of Fitchburg State's mission to make higher education an accessible and life-changing possibility for all. The staff and participants of the TRIO SSS, Upward Bound, and SU SUCCESS invite you to join them in the main lounge for an afternoon of conversation, networking, and to celebrate the achievements of our first-generation students, faculty, and staff! We will be celebrating our first-generation community with light refreshments, as well as custom "I Am First" swag and prizes!
