About this event
Presentation Slides Accessibility
Good slides are clear, easy to follow, and work for everyone. This hands-on workshop covers tips for designing accessible and inclusive presentations in PowerPoint and Google Slides — including effective use of headings, color contrast, readable fonts, and visual descriptions. The session will also introduce tools and features to help ensure all audiences, whether in person or online, can fully engage with your content.
The Center for Digital Innovation and Learning (CDIL) and the Office of the Vice President for Human Resources (OVPHR) invite all staff who want to make their event and training slides more accessible, and faculty who want to improve the accessibility of their classroom slides.
Presenter:
• Kyle A. Carr, PhD, Senior Learning Experience Designer, Center for Digital Innovation and Learning
• Chenxu Gao, Learning Designer, Center for Digital Innovation and Learning
