About this event
Wine. Comedy. A little friendly competition
The Boston Comedy Festival Comedy Competition gets serious on Friday night. After 96 comedians entered the competition, just 32 have made it to the semifinals, and every comedian taking the stage tonight is one step closer to the championship and $7,000 in prize money.
Hosted by Liam McGurk
Boston-based comedian Liam McGurk is the 2025 Boston Comedy Festival Champion and winner of Laugh Boston's Funniest Person in Massachusetts. Known for his laid-back delivery and clever, offbeat material, Liam has become one of New England’s favorite rising comics.
Special Guest: Dan Crohn
Dan Crohn has been performing stand up comedy in and around Boston for years. His jokes can be heard on XM Radio and he has been a guest on the popular podcast WTF with Marc Maron. Dan was named one of the top 100 comics for Season 9 of Last Comic Standing and has recently appeared on Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV and Laughs on Fox.
