About this event
The Asian American Women in Leadership (AAWIL) Conference, hosted by Asian Sisters Participating In Reaching Excellence, Inc. (ASPIRE), is the first and largest conference dedicated to career and leadership development for Asian American girls and women. First held in 2004, AAWIL is a vibrant one-day conference that brings together Asian American women and girls across generations to connect, inspire, and grow together. Through talks, workshops, and discussions, the conference creates a space for participants to share experiences and learn from one another.
AAWIL is a cornerstone of ASPIRE’s broader mission to engage Asian American girls and women in becoming effective lifelong leaders. The conference helps support ASPIRE’s programming, including the Youth Leadership Program, Mentorship Program, and ASPIRE in the Community.”
2026 Theme: Leading with Voice, Purpose, and Impact, in an Age of AI, Change, and Collective Action
Our 15th AAWIL Conference asks what it means to lead on our own terms in a moment of rapid change. The day moves in three arcs: grounding in our own voice and purpose, turning that awareness into action, and confronting the real-world complexity and impact of leadership today. Together, we’ll navigate what’s next — for our careers, for our communities, and for each other.
