About this event

Survivor Day is an event being held by AFSP Massachusetts, taking place at First Congregational Church in Natick. The dogs provide comfort for our attendees who are suicide loss survivors and often, first time attendees. It also helps break the ice before we get started with our agenda for the day. Past attendees have loved to see the fluffy faces :)

1. Location Description: Indoor event. We will be in one main room and have the dogs stationed at the front.

2. Other pet organizations attending : No other organizations attending. Dogs only, please.

3. Parking arrangements : Parking is available in the lot directly next to the church (and Middlesex Savings Bank). Parking in that lot is free. There will be signage to direct folks into the parking lot, as well as into the building.

Pets & People Event notes:

• Remember your ID badge and your dog in the vest/bandana with Pets & People logo.

• Be sure pet is clean, coat and teeth brushed and nails clipped.

• Please remember our protocols state no pet interaction. If teams interact with any other pets always watch each dog's reactions and be proactive.

• Do not post pictures of any individuals you visit as a Pets & People volunteer team on your personal social media pages.
