About this event

In this experiential workshop, psychotherapist Eve Mugar and theatre educator Josh Luckens invite you on a journey of playful self-discovery.

IFS parts work offers an imaginative framework for bringing more compassion, acceptance, and understanding to the rich tapestry of your emotional world. Theatre and movement offer expressive tools for exploring the masks you wear and the parts you play, and for ultimately befriending, and in turn alchemizing, what you find there. Together, they create a space to see yourself through the lenses of joy, curiosity, and kindness, all within a supportive community.

You’ll be introduced to the core tenets of IFS parts work, then use creative, connective theatre exercises to discover and playfully explore one of your parts. You’ll leave with an embodied understanding of parts work as a powerful practice, one that helps you move more easefully and expressively through the complex landscape of this human experience.

No theatre or IFS experience needed — all are welcome!

Sunday, November 8, 1–4 PM · Common Street Spiritual Center, Natick · Sliding scale $30–60
