Stained Glass: Antisemitism and the Work of Jewish Studies

About this event

On the occasion of Flora Cassen's installation as the Lavine Family Director of the Brandeis Center for Jewish Studies, she joins Jeffrey Shoulson, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs and Dean of Undergraduate Studies, for a conversation about her new book, &quo t;Stained Glass: A Reflective History of Antisemitism," and the work of Jewish Studies at Brandeis. Their conversation will explore some of the questions at the heart of the book, the ways Jewish Studies can illuminate both the past and present, and the opportunities the Lavine Family Directorship creates to bring scholarship into conversation with students, communities, and the wider public.
