About this event

Our students bring their whole selves—and all of their experiences, perspectives, and challenges—into the classroom. How can we better understand and respond to the complexity of who our students are and what they bring to their learning? Join the Institute as we explore ways to support the whole student, strengthen their learning experience, and help them thrive.

This event will feature presentations from five faculty from across BU’s schools and colleges who will discuss the strategies they employ to ensure that all students succeed in their learning spaces:

• Caroline Brinkert, Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences

• Kara Cattani, Student Health Services

• Hutch Hutchinson, Questrom School of Business

• AnneMarie McClain, College of Communication

• Adam Sweeting, College of General Studies

The Insights in Action series is facilitated by Megan Sullivan, Faculty Director of Inclusive Pedagogy at the Institute for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and Associate Professor in the College of General Studies.
