The speaker has experience teaching the classics to 8th grade students in a Catholic hybrid homeschool setting.
The organizer is a mom with a technical degree who didn't have time for literature in college. There is no charge for this event.
The Iliad, The Odessy, Julius Caeser, more Shakespeare, and other famous selections will be featured. Timeless treatment of timeless books is the key, with a brief word on contemporary books.
