Across 135 minutes and 13 pieces, Robinson maps striking, expansive sound worlds that defy simple categorization, ranging from jazz and modern classical music to irresistibly danceable grooves and heady abstraction.

The 17-piece Janus Orchestra features leading figures in the jazz and creative music scenes of New York, Boston, and Lateef’s long-time home of western Massachusetts.[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][toggles style=”minimal”][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”artist info”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Jason Robinson: composer & conductor, saxophones, flutes, percussion, spoken word
