About this event
Newton resident Ruth Hertzman-Miller and 14 other composers present a suite of new pieces for saxophone quartet, performed by the JADE saxophone quartet (Jonghwan Kim on soprano sax, Duan Hong on alto sax, Elise Hill on tenor sax, and Ana Díaz Asencio on baritone sax).
The Global Composer Project “Café Gherkinforke” is an international project created and curated by Australian composer Paul Kopetz. The program embraces a diverse range of musical styles, from contemporary classical and film music to jazz fusion, experimental and dancehall.
