2026 GFRC Busa Bushwhack Trail Races

About this event

Price : $35 until 8pm on 11/14, $45 until 8:30am on race morning.

Location : Park, start, and finish at Brophy Elementary School, 575 Pleasant Street (Route 30), Framingham MA 01701. Please carpool if you can.

Race Day Check-In : Begins at 7:30 AM and closes at 8:30 AM .

Start Schedule :

8:30 - Announcements and course instructions.

8:45 - Following the National Anthem, we will walk to the starting line that is approximately 2/10 mile away. Feel free to wear extra clothing to the starting line. Our volunteers will return it to a designated location at the school.

9:00 - Start of the 10 mile race event.

9:10 - Start of the 5.3 mile race event.

Course Description : The natural trails (some hills, some rocks, & some roots) of Callahan State Park. The first 0.3 and last 0.6 mile of each race is on the road with a finish back at Brophy Elementary.

Safety Restrictions : Sorry but pets are not allowed on the race course. Headphones and Air Pods are discouraged.

Race Amenities : Indoor pre- and post-race festivities and use of facilities. Well-marked course with mile markers. There is one water stop on the 5.3 mile course and two water stops on the 10 mile course. See maps for locations.

Commemorative Gift : A beautiful pair of running gloves. Always "handy" to have!

Awards : Log Trophy Awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female finishers. Also, 1st place finisher log trophy awards for male and female age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. (No duplicate age group awards for the overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.)
