About this event

Join us for this exciting program series that honors the contributions of Black women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. In this program, meet Dr. Paula Hammond, chemical engineer and Institute Professor and Dean of the School Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Hear Dr. Hammond share her personal journey as a Black woman in chemical engineering and ask her questions about why she finds this field cool and exciting. Then, try some hands-on activities inspired by her work!

This program series was created in combination with Ellice Patterson, Biologist and Founder/Artistic and Executive Director of Abilities Dance Boston, and a Discovery Museum Science & Engineering Communication Fellow.
