Our New Strategic Plan

About this event

Join us for the debut of the Ayer Library's new Strategic Plan!

Over the past several months, we have been engaged in a planning process to guide our work from FY28 through FY32. Research consisted of:

• one-on-one interviews with 29 community leaders

• in-person and online surveys with 149 respondents

• 8 stakeholder focus groups and workshops with 73 participants

• and additional analysis of library use, demographics, and global, national, and regional trends

After careful reflection and visioning, the final product sets out:

• a new mission

• a set of organizational values

• 11 challenges we want to address

• and 4 priorities collecting 16 goals

In this presentation Library Director Luke Kirkland guides attendees through the planning process and outlines the direction the Ayer Library has charted for its future.
