About this event

This class is specifically designed for beaders of all levels.

We will take time to review information about wire:

• precious metal (silver and gold-filled)

• craft wire, gauge

• hardness, straightening, ergonomics, etc., then on to techniques.

The bulk of the class will consist of creating jewelry, ornaments, suncatchers and other creative pieces with Dawna’s advice and supervision, with a focus on creating a “stretch and squeeze” bracelet. Dawna will demonstrate techniques to embellish the foundational cuff with beads, ruffles, and hand extensions.
