About this event
It’s 1692. Bridget Bishop is accused of witchcraft and YOU are the jury. Hear the evidence, cross-examine the witnesses and determine the outcome. The actors respond as Puritans, revealing much about the Puritan mind. Is Bridget Bishop capable of witchcraft? You decide.
The New York Times says “Not all of Salem’s witchiness is silly….The play “Cry Innocent: the People vs. Bridget Bishop” in which the audience may question the accused, is educational and beautifully performed”
Interactive witch trial performance. Arrest scene begins 10 minutes before showtime. The longest continuously-running show north of Boston.
